Stars: Color Index

After selecting the "Determine Magnitude" button, place mouse cursor over desired star in field of view and single-click with the left mouse button. A dialog box will appear with the magnitude information for the star selected (labeled as Unknown Magnitude at bottom of list). Make note of magnitude in a table. Continue determining magnitudes for other stars in the image in the same manner.

When this process in complete for the B image, proceed with the image taken with the V filter. Remember to reset the reference star magnitude, as the value will be different for the new filter.
