Star Selection Criteria:

Choose field that has a star of known B and V magnitude in the field of the view (for calibration)
Choose stars between about 4-12 magnitude
Can choose an open star cluster

The open star cluster NGC 1857 was chosen for this demonstration. A map of the region was created using TheSky, with known B and V magnitudes labeled on four stars.
