ses01.jpg (104901 bytes)

This image was taken from Chaco Canyon on one of the public observing nights in September, 2004. Notice the two dim red glows on the horizon; the one on the left under Gah heet'e'ii is the glow of the city lights in Grants, while the one on the right under 'Átsé'etsoh is the glow of lights here in Crownpoint.

The two Navajo constellations, Rabbit Tracks and First Big One, are together known as the constellation Scorpius in Western starlore.
